| While in the position of Lead Creative Designer for Lithonia Lighting, I was asked to produce a series of full page ads for a new line of architectural lighting products. Each ad would run for three months in industry publications. | I learned that we could obtain back page ad placement on all four of the publications to which we were submitting. This was exciting news to go along with the concept I was going to propose. The concept was to create a back page ad that looked like a magazine cover. | "Very innovative," said the head of the department. "That sure should get some attention." Everyone was on board and eager to see the results. | This successful ad campaign garnered Lithonia their first award for "Outstanding Readership Response". The ad looked more engaging than the actual magazine's cover, prompting people to lay the magazine down with our ad facing up. | |||||
